The following terms are applicable for any products purchased or ordered from the Alpineearplugs.co.za website.
Returning Products
To request a return, please send an email with attached proof of purchase and photo evidence of any defect (if applicable) within 10 business days of delivery or collection of the item. After 10 business days, returns are only allowed for products that are defective and covered under warranty.
You may return any item to us for exchange, credit or refund at no charge, provided:
- The item is undamaged, unopened, and unused, with the original packaging, labels, and stickers still attached (if applicable).
- The item is not missing any accessories or parts.
- Your item purchased is returned within 10 working days (for your own courier cost account). We will not be responsible for a lost returned item.
Defective Products
Alpine Earplugs South Africa does its best to ensure that the products you purchase are of a high quality and in good working order and without defects.
A defect is a material imperfection in the manufacture of a product or any characteristic of a product which makes the product less acceptable than one would reasonably be entitled to expect in the circumstances.
In the event of receiving a defective item, please request a return in writing within the warranty period via email, with proof of purchase and proof of defect. We will collect the product from you and replace it at no charge.
The following conditions will not be considered defects and therefore will not qualify for a return under this section:
- faults resulting from normal wear and tear.
- damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product.
- damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product.
- damage arising from unauthorised alterations to the product.
Not what you ordered?
If we accidentally deliver the incorrect product to you, or if the product is not as described on this website, or the product does not meet your requirements, please notify us within 10 business days, and we will collect the product from you and replace it at no charge.
Note: You must pay for return shipping of incorrectly ordered items. We will not be responsible for a lost returned item.
Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will, at your choice, deliver the correct product to you as soon as possible (if the correct product is available); apply a credit with the purchase price of the product within 10 days of the return or refund you if that is your preference.
Manufacturer Warranty
As with all warranties, certain conditions and exceptions may apply. Please take proper note of any terms, conditions or instructions that accompany the item(s) purchased as well as the following.
Your Alpine product comes with a 24-month factory warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers replacement as determined by Alpine, excluding shipping costs.
To claim warranty, you’ll need:
- Your dated proof of purchase
- A clear description of the issue
- The product and/or photos showing the defect
The warranty doesn’t cover:
- Products used beyond the recommended usage time (3-6 months for intensive daily use)
- Self-modified or self-repaired products
- Damage from neglect, accidents, or improper use
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper storage or maintenance
- Cosmetic issues like scratches or discolouration
- Dissatisfaction with fit, function, colour, or design
Non-Refundable Items
The products listed below are non-returnable:
- Products that are out of warranty
- Products are stipulated as “non-returnable” on our website’s product pages.
